October 18 and 19, 2025 Huntington Beach Sister City is hosting a mini Japan Culture Fair at Huntington Beach Central Library in Huntington Beach. Some of the activities/exhibits are:

Flower arrangement (Ikebana) exhibit/workshop; tea ceremony exhibits/workshop; HB Sister City Anjo booth - Kite, Sakuri Kite; Niigata Prefecture (Tsubame Sanjo) - heartland of Japan’s metallurgy craftsmanship (knives and kitchenware available for purchase); Miyagi Prefecrture - exhibit for tourism; Taiko Drum Performance - Koro Taiko and Hikara Taiko; Genbu Kai of Santa Ana - Karate, Kobudo and Batto performances; Long Beach Kendo (Martial Arts School) Kendo demo; Japanese Traditional dance; Yoyoka, Genius Drummer.
