The Half Moon Bay - Kariwa Sister City Association invites you to join us for a ribbon cutting celebration at the Half Moon Bay Library. Our Commemorative Friendship Garden, honoring over 30 years of sister city partnership and friendship between Half Moon Bay and Kariwa-Mura Japan, is near completion. We would love for you to join us for a community celebration to present this garden to the people of Half Moon Bay on Saturday, October 10th 2026. The event will be free and open to the community.
